BARReport a concern

CHOOSE THE RIGHT ROUTE

You should not have to report a concern to the person involved.

Start with the route that best fits the situation. You can use an independent Berklee channel whenever a BAR conflict, teaching relationship, or concern about leadership makes internal review inappropriate.

REPORTING OPTIONS

Three clear ways to begin.

You do not need to solve the whole situation before asking for help. Share only what is relevant and keep copies of messages or agreements that may help explain what happened.

01

A concern about another Network member

Signed-in members can use Report or Block in Member Home. Reports are private account records; blocking immediately prevents new BAR connection requests between the two accounts.

02

A concern that should not be reviewed by BAR’s founder

Use Berklee’s independent reporting options for concerns involving BAR leadership, a faculty or student power relationship, discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, stalking, or retaliation. These reports go through Berklee’s systems, separately from BAR.

03

An incident involving a Berklee student

Berklee Community Standards provides an online incident-report route for students, faculty, and staff. Use it when the concern involves the conduct of a Berklee student.
